The NEWART.PHOTO generates revenue through advertising of our Clients' products. We do not charge our site members any fees for any activity on our site.

Those in the two most privileged statuses, namely "Artists" and "Models", have the option of monetising their images by offering them as a support for an advertising overlay*. The advertising overlay can be observed by following any of the eight top header images (the eight ever-changing images located at the top of each page) down to their original size.There are two standard advertising mediums: the "advertising overlay" and the "standalone ad block". Both can be used in order to generate additional income by advertising the products of our clients to your audience**.

An advertising overlay allows you to personalise the company's ad with your images, providing visual support for it. In some cases, this may lead to more efficient advertising and better sales for the company (for which you will receive a good compensation), while in other cases (this is particularly relevant to models), the match between your visuals and the company's products may be so strikingly good that the company will endeavour to establish you as the public face of the organisation.

Any registered NEWART.PHOTO site user may request from any of our Client-companies the addition of an advertising overlay, which will be applied shortly, if the content is deemed to be appropriate. If the content is deemed to be obscene, obnoxious or pornographic, the advertising overlay might not be granted to Its owner (most often this decision is taken by the Client company representative). Free site members who directly link to the content which generates clicks on the advertising overlay will receive a compensation from NEWART.PHOTO site Administration and will have a chance to be granted a status of an "Artist" or a "Model" on our site.

At present, advertisers (our client companies) may opt to provide a commission on each item sold. In such instances, the NEWART.PHOTO site administration will be extending invitations to the artists and models directly involved. If you have been invited to participate in an advertising campaign by our representative or directly by a company and you are interested, please follow the instructions provided below.

1. 1) If you have already established an online presence on other sites, but this has not yet generated any income, you can cease posting full-size images on those sites. An alternative option is to post the images physically or to directly link to them on NEWART.PHOTO, with a link to them displayed to your audience***. In this instance, any individual who wishes to access a full-size image will receive it with the advertising overlay superposed. Should the user click on the overlay, the overlay will function on your behalf. All clicks will be automatically logged and counted, and in case there are some purchases, you will receive your commission at the end of the month.
   This method has one "disadvantage": your full-size images must be publicly available, which means they can be copied and the whole combo (i.e. your image + the advertising overlay) can be directly linked to. However, we do not display advertising overlays over images that have been classified as obscene, obnoxious or pornographic. Furthermore, we do not display advertising overlays over low-quality content unless it was intended to be so from an artistic perspective. It is therefore down to you to decide which parts of your artistic work are suitable for advertising overlays, bearing in mind that in order to make the most of it, they should be publicly available. Please note that the image behind the overlay cannot be received by an internet browser without a superposed overlay. However, it can still be saved without it (no protection).

2. 2) Please also note that your images with corresponding advertising overlays may be exclusively available on NEWART.PHOTO only. In this case, if the client company grants you the advertising overlay, no one but registered Newart.Photo users may access the content, if the access is granted by the content owner. If you wish to prevent your images from being made publicly available on the World Wide Web while still using them as a support for advertising overlays, this is the optimal solution. It allows you to make use of all the access limitation features of NEWART.PHOTO.

1. a) You are a free site member and you decide to directly link to something not yet exposed on NEWART.PHOTO.

2. b) You decide to make a link to a set publicly available for reasons of your own.

3. c) You have heard that advertising overlays are a profitable venture. You want to try it. You request an advertising overlay.

4. d) The advertising overlay is either assigned to your sets by the Company's representative/site Administration or it isn't. We do not wish to relay** any obscene, low-quality or pornographic content. Furthermore, it is not cost-effective for us to relay anything devoid of an advertising overlay, as this results in the loss of valuable traffic and processor time, which we pay for to a hosting company. The NEWART.PHOTO has been designed to be associated with high-quality content. As a free site member, your content will be available only to other NEWART.PHOTO registered members by default. You are free to do what you wish, but please note that we do not let out the content which may annoy other people outside our site (by default the content of free site members is available only to registered site members and may be found by means of searching).

1. a) You request an advertising overlay from a company.

2. b) In the majority of cases the advertising overlay will be assigned immediately and in some rare cases the NEWART.PHOTO site Administration will have to consult the company in question.

The standalone ad block is simply an advertising of a particular product, which can be linked to or be represented by an image, which points to it, when clicked. You can obtain both variants in the section "My advertising". The standalone ad block is available to both free site members and site members with statuses. The ad block may be placed on your personal site or on your social networks, forums, comments, etc. Each link in a "standalone ad block" contains an encrypted string identifying you as the advertising agent. When a purchase is made by following this link, you will receive a commission. The effectiveness of a "standalone ad block" is contingent upon its placement. If the link is placed in an optimal location at an opportune time, it will result in a commission.

Unlike the advertising overlay, the standalone ad block is a direct and explicit way to advertise a particular product of a particular company in a particular pace and time.

At this point, a question may arise: who or what justifies paying a commission to an advertiser if the advertised product is purchased? It is the interest of the client company to sell its products in case the advertising is successful. If the advertising through NEWART.PHOTO does not bring profit to the client company, there is nothing to discuss, but if it leads to an increase in sales, everyone should start waiting for a "failed trial purchase". A "failed trial purchase" is a purchase made anonymously by an advertising agent in order to catch the company in the act of not paying the corresponding commission. It should be noted that all advertising through Newart.Photo previously established for a given company can be stopped immediately. Newart.Photo does not sign agreements with companies. Instead, a company agrees that everything will work until the first "failed trial purchase" and that the advertising will either stop hereafter or the commission to advertising agents must be increased. The first failure will crash everything and wil raise the commission in case the company wants to restart. All advertising agents will benefit from increased commission. At some point in time, a company will quit the game on it's own and another company will take its place.

The key advantage for companies is that they are only paying for advertising that has already produced results, such as a purchase. Companies are not paying for advertising that has only increased brand awareness or website visits. This enables NEWART.PHOTO to set the terms of engagement with companies.

NEWART.PHOTO can achieve remarkable results for any company through minimal effort.

* At present, "free site members" also have this possibility.
